       Audience research conclusions

From my questionare results i have concluded that many people would like to see a teenage her suffering and in pain,in a abandoned house, the most popular music was either sinister or a child-like music like a music box. the majority wanted the plot to not be revealed and liked the name Incubus. We will take this into consideration and hopefully follow through with this market research.

Genre 

our trailer will be a hybrid genre film as this trailer will consists of thriller and horror to themes in order to use different techniques. The covnetions we will follow would be about a teenage girl getting haunted this will relate to our audicence as are movie is rated for 13 plus.

 Content/structure

We will call our film incubus as it means... 

the main story of outr film is about a girl who has nitemares and that what ever she dreams about it come to life. there is this monster she sees who is haunting her and dissent let her in peace, this is driving the her crazy. We will not be revealing the entire plot however give a good introduction and explain what is the base of the story and give hints to the audience on what might happen this will engage the audience and attract them to watch the film as they would want to clear any confusion. we will also use a tag linE called don't dare dream this is very effective as we are using alliteration which is really effective and its like a warning. the trailer will be structured with the girl waking up and talking about what she is going through then it slowly starts to develop into some fast horror scenes later it ends with a slower scene of shehza; the teenager screaming and it fades into the title form there we could use another shot and then add our tag line, this may look like a challenge to the audienece.

 Audience

Our target audience will be from the age 13 and above as this isn't the worlds most frightening trailer and we want to be able to share the movie woh almost as many as people possible. the gender and class doesn't really matter, it depends on if the person enjoys to watch a horror/thriller.

the trailer will appeal to the audicencs the the suspense and tension we will create. the music we will use will also be very intimidating which will add an prusuasive and exciting effect.

Representation

our trailer will represent the characters in many different ways.

the oil will be shown as weak and innocent, someone who has been going through such a hard time, someone who hasn't slept and peace, someone who has become mentally ill. 

the doctor we use is shown to be serious and interested in the problem but not as caring as a mother or someone close to her would be.

the monster is shown to be mischievous who fighters her alo, someone is almost possessive.

the girl is very stereotypical as she will be very common and reconcilable outfits that most teenagers wear, the teenagers atidue will match as if someone in such a young age was being transited they would react in the same or similar way. the doctors clothing a diologeis very similar to what any doctor would ask the girl, however the doctors  attitude is slightly different which add to the gloomy atmosphere and may show that the doctor has a secrete.
