Assignment 2 - Explanation

My target audiences are females from about 10- the late twenties.

To make the interview appealing I chose different kinds of questions to suit teenagers who are attracted to different themes. For example about their personal life, inspirations, career updates and some random facts about the artist. This makes it interesting for the reader as there is a variety of questions asked giving you more and unique information. It helps you know how the artist thinks and feels, it also shows their personality.

I made the artist seem like a simple, funny, happy person; who lives life with enjoyment and happiness. she also is a caring and kind person who has faith in her self, her dreams and her family and that they will support her. I made her sound like this as I wanted her to be like a normal person who isn't always serious in life.

I made the album cover appeal to the audience by using metallic colours as it is said to be 'new year colours' becuase its very elegant an festive which seems perfect for this occasion. I also used a pop of colour on the lips and on the artists name to make it seem bright and eye catching. The colours are not just appealing but the font is also very bold. I believe that the way I have written 'new year' looks unique showing that its a new year and that we should be something different and better. the artists name is written like her signature to represent how personal. the colours are corresponding to each other which results that  it isn't over the top  and that there is a balance to the colour and style. the photograph is a picture of the artist laughing and enjoying showing us that the artist likes to enjoy, dance, take a break. the pose of the picture shows that she is in a new years party we know this because of the costume and the props used. which  was a mask; that shows that is was a party mask. plus the colours ans decor of the mask can show how heavy and stylish it is.

i     I followed conventions of the album cover and the interview by including a photo of the artist and showing her as a kind and sophisticated, loyal person. I challenged the conventions by not just talking about the album but talking about her personal life and opinions.
